Daisy McKinlay

Daisy McKinlay is a joint owner and rider at McAshwey Stud.

Daisy had a successful career in pony show jumping at the top level before taking over the horses and beginning to ride full-time at age 16.

Over the past few years, Daisy has produced many young horses starting as 2 and 3 year olds with her father, developing them into ranking-class horses capable of jumping at Nations Cup level.

Her most notable achievement so far is producing Darjeeling Desir from a 5yo to a Nations Cup team horse, recently competing in their first 3* ranking classes and 1.55m 3* Grand Prix events.

We hope Daisy’s other horses, such as Donder Slage and Unexpected Z, will follow in his footsteps in the coming year.
